"Sprouts Farmers Market" is coming to Broomfield! . . . Uh, well, not exactly. It's coming to Westminster, just south of 120th Ave, across the street from Broomfield and next door to Staples, you know, where Wal-Mart might have built! Sprouts plans to open its Westminster and Parker stores this fall, the first in Colorado! Another "missed opportunity" for Broomfield! (Were we sleeping?)

My Old Man's Restaurant and Lounge is replacing Rooster's Bar! Have you noticed all the renovative work being done on this old building, just east of Barber's property? Well, it's going to be the first of its kind in Colorado, with a current establishment in Phoenix, AZ. Due to open in mid-August this year, it will include a bar, but will also be a nice family destination. Being redone from top to bottom, the building is getting a new roof, totally new kitchen, new floor and rest rooms, and is adding a covered patio and a sandy volleyball court in the back! With a variety of menu selections, this promises to be a favorite for young and old and in-betweens!
